Mall of America's indoor theme park has gone through quite a renovation. Over a year ago, many of us discovered that it would be changing to a Nickelodeon Theme. This sent me into a frenzy. I made dozens of phone calls, and was told that eventually they would carry exclusive Avatar merchandise, and they would have the coveted Avatar plush toys that many of us had a hard time locating!

This was awesome news considering the Avatar brand hasn't done too well in the toy department. Since the action figures had been discontinued, it was rumored the plush toys would also become obsolete. This made finding the plush toys impossible a few years back, unless you turned to Ebay and the like. You can imagine my excitement at the thought of every fan having the ability to simply go online, and purchase these plush toys with just a click of their mouse.

I kept checking the Mall of America online shop as the Nickelodeon Park came closer to completion, and as promised, small Avatar items (as well as other Nickelodeon characters) began to trickle into their online catalog. New T shirt designs, travel mugs, awesome hoodies, and small affordable collectibles that appeal to all ages finally saw the light of day. Definitely a breath of fresh air for the Avatar fans!

If you have had trouble finding the plush toys in the past, or the Paramount Theme parks have stopped taking your calls for mail order, please support the merchandise from Mall of America. Shop there before Ebay. After all...they are the ones that can order more from their suppliers, and request new designs and merchandise. Heck, they may even cause other companies to look into licensing Avatar merchandise. If you are a collector like I am, just the thought of more Avatar merchandise probably has you making room on your shelves in anticipation
